Chivoda’s Community Leader Highlights
We take immense pride in our community and partnering with strong community leaders that help reshape these communities. In doing so Chivoda would like to take the opportunity to highlight two exceptionally active community leaders for their efforts and contribution to our community. The Denver Dream Center and Feed My Lamb’s Minitries are impacting our communities locally and internationally. They both have initiatives that aide in serving every aspect of day to day from children minitries to our brothers and sisters transitioning from a challenging past. Here at Chivoda we truly appreciate these efforts and ask that you check out these two great organizations.
The Denver Dream Center is based in the heart of Denver Colorado with an Ordained mission to reconnect people who have been isolated by poverty, substance abuse, gangs, imprisonment, homelessness, abuse and neglect to God and to a community of support to meet their physical and spiritual needs, and to help them develop a support system that will encourage them to make positive, long-term, God-honoring changes in their lives.
Feed my Lambs Ministry has an Ordained mission is to provide a home environment for children that have lost their parents or have been abandoned at our doorsteps by those who they trusted the most. Our highest objective is for the children to know that they are loved and have a sense of belonging, of safety and of well-being. To have the assurance that they can dream and aspire to become whatever their hearts desire.
We also try to provide education to as many children as our school will accommodate. We believe that in order to change the status quo, for the some of the children in Haiti, education is the key to a more productive life.
There are many people in Haiti that have never ever visited a doctor. We would like to provide free medical attention to the most impoverished families in our area
